The Australian Table Grape Association (ATGA) is happy to say that the export season for Australian table grapes to the Philippines has begun. The program, which was made by ATGA and Hort Innovation together, will help Australian table grapes get more attention in the Filipino market. Through this program, people will be able to try a wide range of Australian grape types, from well-known favorites to interesting new breeds that promise a unique taste experience.
The CEO of the Australian Table Grape Association, Jeff Scott, said he was excited about the new season and the events in the Philippines to promote it.
"We are thrilled to inaugurate the Australian table grape season here in the Philippines," said Scott.
"Our hardworking growers have put in a lot of work to make sure we have the best grapes, and we can't wait to share them with Filipino consumers." This advertising effort is a big step toward getting Filipino shoppers and stores interested in Australian table grapes, so the market as a whole can enjoy their high quality.
There will be special events to mark the launch, in-store tastings, and educational materials about the benefits and varieties of Australian table grapes as part of the marketing effort. Many stores across the country, such as Landers, Metro Supermarket, Robinsons Supermarket, S&R, Shopwise, The Marketplace, and Dizon Farms, will be taking part in this program, making it easy for customers to get these unique fruits.
"We recognize the immense potential the Philippines market holds for Australian table grapes, and we are committed to providing our consumers with not just first-rate produce, but also an exceptional culinary experience," said Scott.
"Through our promotional campaign, we aim to build durable bonds with Filipino retailers and consumers, further establishing Australia's status as a premier supplier of top-quality table grapes."
The Philippines bought about 7% of Australia's table grapes during the 2022–23 season and is now the country's fourth-largest export market for the 2023–24 season.
The ATGA's advertising campaign highlights the strong trade relationship between Australia and the Philippines. It also shows how dedicated the group is to supporting healthy, high-quality food around the world. As the season goes on, the ATGA is looking forward to more events and chances to show how much people in Australia and the Philippines love table grapes.
