Crafted by PLEDIS Entertainment founder Sung Soo Han in partnership with Spotify, the track features composition by Nickko Young, d'tour, and Neckwav. "One" pays tribute to the dedication driving competitive esports, focusing heavily on T1's players and their loyal fanbase. The song's narrative centers around shared trust, overcoming obstacles, and standing as a unified front through moments of uncertainty.
A Historic First for Spotify Singles
This project marks a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between Spotify and T1, representing the first time the Spotify Singles initiative has created a custom track specifically for an esports organization. Since its inception in 2016, the program has provided top global musical acts with a platform for exclusive recordings, previously featuring K-pop icons like ENHYPEN and STAYC, alongside Korean hip-hop stars Jay Park and Kid Milli.

From Parody Teaser to Live Stage Performance
The track's official debut follows an entertaining viral campaign that captured the attention of both K-pop and gaming communities. A mockumentary-style teaser video humorously depicted T1 attempting to launch their own boy band before DxS made a surprise appearance to steal the spotlight.
DxS will perform "One" live for the very first time at the T1 Home Ground event in Seoul on August 14. Global fans will also be able to stream the official live performance video on Spotify later this month.
"Esports and K-Pop have some of the most passionate fan communities in the world, and with 'One' we set out to push the fandom experience into new territory," said Gautam Talwar, General Manager for Spotify Asia Pacific. "This Spotify Singles collaboration, the storytelling behind it, and DxS' live performance at T1 Home Ground are all about creating a deeper connection between fans on both sides and the worlds they love."
