Commemorating 45 Years of Mobile Suit Gundam: Exclusive T-Shirt Collection and Augmented Reality Experience
A famous anime series called Gundam has been watched by people all over the world for 45 years. To celebrate, UNIQLO, a global fashion giant, is going to release a special collection of T-shirts called UT. The unique collection will be shown for the first time in the Philippines on May 5, 2025. This collector's edition has original drawings by Kunio Okawara, who created the famous giant robot, as well as graphics from the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam, the movie version of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED coming out in 2024, and the highly regarded series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

In a first for the company, UNIQLO is also releasing a custom augmented reality (AR) project at the same time as the line. People who use this realistic experience will have the exciting chance to see a life-sized Gundam right in front of them. In Japan, the AR experience will only be offered in seven places, giving Gundam fans an unforgettable experience.
With UNIQLO's AR Project, you can feel the magic of Gundam Rising! UNIQLO's augmented reality project, which is a salute to the first episode "Gundam Rising," will let people all over the world see a Gundam in their own environments.
