As a world leader in the food and drink business, PepsiCo is taking a big step by bringing HARD MOUNTAIN DEW to the Philippines as their first ready-to-drink alcoholic drink.

HARD MOUNTAIN DEW is an alcoholic version of Mountain Dew, which is PepsiCo's best-selling drink brand in the Philippines. It was first sold in the US in 2022. This new drink has a special mix of 5% alcohol by volume, no added sugar, zero caffeine, and only 100 calories per serving.
Senior Director and General Manager for the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore Nitin Bhandari talked about how excited he was about the new product. In response to our Filipino customers' changing tastes, we came up with HARD MOUNTAIN DEW. "It gives our famous Mountain Dew a new and exciting twist and gives adults a fun and responsible way to switch from work to play," he explained.
Bhandari also said that this launch fits with PepsiCo's overall plan for ready-to-drink drinking drinks. "PepsiCo has a strong track record of making unique products that meet the changing needs of consumers," he said. The group of ready-to-drink drinks has grown by 10% and is expected to grow even more, which gives us a big chance.
Bhandari talked about how PepsiCo is committed to responsible marketing and how its alcoholic goods are promoted in the right way. "Our alcoholic drinks are carefully made for adults who are old enough to legally drink and like to drink responsibly." Following local laws, we made sure that the word "HARD" and the 5% ABV were clearly displayed on the packaging. This sets our alcoholic goods apart and meets both consumer expectations and regulatory standards, he explained.
From August 15, 2024, you'll be able to buy HARD MOUNTAIN DEW in 330ml single-serve cans and 4x4 packs. This innovative product can be found at major supermarkets, convenience stores, pubs, and bars in chosen cities, and comes in two exciting flavors: Original and Beach Blast.
