Caritas Manila Inc., Makati Garden Club, and World Flower Council Unite for Landmark Charity Event - Nature & Fashion with Compassion
In honor of National Children's Month, a group of women in the Philippines are working together to stop the growing problem of children being abused online. A new joint study is very disturbing because it shows that over 13% of children, or more than one in ten, are vulnerable to being sexually exploited online. However, the public's awareness of this problem is still very low.

"Nature & Fashion with Compassion" is more than just a charity event; it's a powerful movement to bring attention to the most vulnerable children and help them. The important event will take place on November 12, 2023, at the beautiful Mayuree Ballroom at the Dusit Thani Manila. The World Flower Council and the Makati Garden Club are working together on the project, and Caritas Manila Inc. is set to be the lucky recipient.
Event High Points:
- Floral Demonstration (Hope and Healing in Bloom): From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., floral artists from around the world will show off their unique styles.
- Protecting Children from Online Violence Community Forum: From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a community forum on protecting children from online violence. At this event, guest experts will share their knowledge to bring attention to these important problems.
- Evening Fashion Show (Nature & Fashion with Compassion): A group of artists who care about a good cause will show off their skills by combining the beauty of nature and fashion.
Caritas Manila's Restorative Justice Program will get more money from the event to help protect women and children from internet violence and human trafficking.
