AC Health Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Cancer Patients |
Made in partnership with Kythe Foundation, a non-government organization that provides Child Life services and psychosocial support to children with chronic illnesses, Soar invited over 500 participants, including 60 cancer patients and their families, as well as volunteers from the Ayala Group for a fun afternoon filled with recreational activities like kite flying, games, and entertainment performances.
According to Paolo Borromeo, Soar aims to encourage volunteerism in the Ayala group, in line with AC Health’s objective of expanding access to healthcare.
“Cancer treatment is difficult for many Filipinos, and in this event, we want to take the time to celebrate family and community amidst such difficulties,” Borromeo said.
“It is also our way of connecting with patients and their families, so that we can make sure our cancer hospital is responsive to their needs,” he added.
Just last month, AC Health shared its plans to establish a 100-bed, comprehensive cancer hospital in Metro Manila, to provide premium cancer care services at an affordable price.
Apart from the anniversary of AC Health, Soar is also one of the efforts connected to the 185th year celebration of Ayala Corporation.
