| Kenny Rogers Highlights #AwesomeTogether Pairings in New Animated Short Film |
Directed by Avid Lingoren, the man behind the highly-acclaimed animated film Saving Sally, “Awesome Together” tells the story of star-crossed lovers Sosy and Bolzi, inspired by celebrity couple Solenn Heusaff and Nico Bolzico who were also the voices behind the main characters.
Despite its dramatic premise, Liongoren wanted to inject a sense of fun and adventure to the film. “Nico and Solenn are very animated humans so it was so much fun to turn them into animals,” says Liongoren.
Aside from Sosy and Bolzi, “Awesome Together” also highlights another pair that’s awesome together, the flavorful bacon and juicy roast chicken. With this, Kenny Rogers brings back the Bacon Roast which the food chain first offered in 2013.
The Bacon Roast is a special dish that wraps Kenny's famous slow-roasted chicken in decadent strips of bacon to present a delicious, crave-inducing treat that will keep you coming back for more. Kenny’s takes pride in continuously serving bold and unique flavors that their guests crave every day. This is why they have decided to bring back the Bacon Roast, and this time, more tender and juicier than ever.
The Bacon Roast is offered on a solo plate with two side dishes, rice, and a muffin, priced at Php255. For barkadas, you can avail of the group meal that’s good for four people for only Php840. The Bacon Roast will be available in all Kenny Roger’s stores starting July 16.
