This year’s gathering held at the Diamond Hotel saw four awards selected from Traveloka’s inventory of over 4,300 hotel partners across the Philippines. The awards include Most Engaged which recognize the most cooperative hotel partner of Traveloka which finds time to consistently provide updates and plans on how to further grow the business. The awardees, together with Traveloka, develops and implements suggested rate plan discounts and participates in scheduled promotional campaigns to boost demand.
This award was bagged by Go Hotels Ermita, beating other nominees including Siglo Suites at The Azure Urban Resort Residences, and The Hotel at Green Sun.
Meanwhile, Discovery Suites Manila was given the Best Content award for its good conversion in bookings. According to Traveloka, the recipient of this award has consistently ensured that the photos of the property highlight the experience that awaits each guest—from the hotel rooms to the various amenities. The winner of the award has also been consistent in providing updated data that would help guests decide on their bookings and further appreciation of the property.
Other nominees for this category were Hotel H20 and Diamond Hotel Philippines.
The Best Review award, on the other hand, was granted to three hotels for their exemplary performance in influencing a guest’s decision to book accommodation because of the hotel’s good reviews. The winners for this category are Lub d Philippines Makati under the Hostels and Backpacker Accommodations, Casa Bocobo Hotel under Hotels and Serviced Apartments, and I’M Hotel for Luxury Hotels.
The Best Rookie award was given to Skyloft Hotel, a property that showed high potential in terms of production performance despite being a new partner of Traveloka. Skyloft Hotel bested out Mella Hotel and U Hotels Makati in this category.
In his speech at the said awards night, Miguel Capistrano III, Traveloka's Country Market Manager extended his appreciation for their partners.
"For Traveloka, this awards ceremony is our own little way of acknowledging and appreciating strong and reliable partnerships we have developed through the years. Let's all continue to work together to provide each guest and traveler the best hotel experience," Capistrano said.
Traveloka is present in eight countries across the Asia-Pacific region, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, and Australia.
